But is this enough for this provider to match other big names in the industry? We can only answer this question after thoroughly reviewing the features available from ProxySocks5. Have a read below.

One thing you will likely love with ProxySocks5 is how forward and direct it is about its proxy features. For instance, the website has one of the most comprehensive location diversity explanations we’ve seen in a proxy service provider. 

ProxySocks5 has servers in over 100 locations. But, this is not the best part. The best part is that you can select individual countries and see the supported cities and regions, which is way more than most providers offer. 

Other than that, this provider has more than 100 servers in the mentioned locations, which, to be honest, is relatively modest. This is one significant downside with this provider, and we can only hope it can compensate for it in other areas.

You should note that speed is influenced by several factors, such as location, your ISP, and distance from the server. Also, a slight drop in speed is okay since these servers reroute your traffic through their network.

Unfortunately, this provider does not seem to complement its service with any additional tools. There is no mention of an API, browser extensions, or proxy checkers on the website, leading us to believe these services are unavailable. 

The ProxySocks5 website is relatively easy to navigate. It may not be as attractive as some of its competitors, but it is loaded with information designed to help you get started with the service. 

Purchasing a proxy is relatively straightforward. All you have to do is sign up using your email and password. From there, you get access to the dashboard from where you can easily buy the proxies you need. 

The pricing structure at ProxySocks5 is quite comprehensive. You can manually adjust the number of proxies you need, the ISP, and the system automatically generates the prices for you. After looking at the prices, we can confidently say the proxies are quite affordable and might work even for small-time users. 

Unfortunately, this provider does not seem to offer any free trial for the services, which is a significant downside. Also, the website has very stringent conditions under which it offers refunds. Accordingly, you can only get a refund if the proxies do not work as advertised or the company fails to deliver the proxies.

ProxySocks5 offers periodical discounts for its subscription packages. While we could not find any special offer at the time of writing, a little digging proved that the website offers deals from time to time. The only evident offer we could find was bulk order discounts where the price per proxy keeps getting cheaper and cheaper as you buy more proxies.

ProxySocks5 is a legitimate company and has been in the business for quite a while. It has an average Trustpilot rating of 3.2 stars, showing that a significant portion of its customers is generally dissatisfied with working with the company. This means the company still has a few kinks to iron out if it is to improve its reputation. 

The customer support system at ProxySocks5 is average. While the website has a live chat system, the agents are not always available. When we tried to reach out, we were asked to provide our email address for the agents to reach out when they were available. 

This is not great, given that some customers may have pressing issues that might need immediate attention. The only sure way of reaching out to the support team is using the email option.

Seemingly, you cannot earn money with ProxySocks5. There is no mention of an affiliate or referral service on the website, as you would expect from a premium provider. This is a massive downside as such features create a mutual relationship between the customer and the provider.
